STI (SUBARU TECNICA INTERNATIONAL, President Ichiro Kudoh, based in Mitaka Tokyo), a subsidiary company of Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), undertaking all motorsport activities for Subaru, announced that the company will compete in Round 7 of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), the “Acropolis Rally” to be held at the end of May with two of the latest evolution models of the Subaru Impreza WRC, the WRC 2008.

The finish ceremony of the Rally d’Italia Sardegna the sixth round of the World Rally Championship which took place alongside Porto Cervo’s Marina in Sardinia on May 18th saw world rally champions Sebastien Loeb/Daniel Elena claim the top prize in their Citroen C4.
